Hello Sean. I’m glad your experience with Will went great!
The maximum temperature allowed by the international plumbing code is 120 degrees, though I understand many homes are set to 125. At 140 degrees the human skin burns within a few seconds. Most humans cannot withstand 140 degree water, which makes me think something else is going on either with the plumbing system or the tankless unit. Also, shower heads have nothing to do with temperature control, they only can control volume and pressure. The valve in the wall controls the temperature and it’s possible seals can do bad in those valve and they can mix hot and cold incorrectly. Also, the 210-s2 unit is rated at 10.1 gallons per minute, considering most showers are around 2.5 gpm and most washers are between 1-3 gpm, the 210-s2 should have no problem keeping up with that demand. This makes me again believe there maybe something wrong with either the plumbing system or the unit itself. I’ll have my office out to you and see if we can come out for free to check it out.
